2009-10-27Approximately 400 Fieldfares were roosting in the trees, within the reservoir boundary, just south of Hays Lane at 16.00 this afternoon (SE corner of Millfields Bay). As I drove the Land Rover around the track, they alighted and moved into the trees in Riddings Farm, just over the fence. A good record of a species I rarely see within the recording area.
