| 2013-10-12 | A first winter Gannet was on the water and also flying around from Sheepwash hide between 10:50 and 11:10 this morning. At one point it was seen to plunge dive when being mobbed by a LBBG.

| 2013-10-11 | 2 Great Skuas flew in and landed mid water at c11.20 this morning. They remained on the water for about 15 minutes until they flew towards Sheepwash and circled around in front of the hide for several minutes giving myself and 2 other birders superb views. After upsetting the c50 LBB Gulls that were happily loafing about at Sheepwash they left in a SW direction.
