2014-04-09 | This evening at just after 19.30hrs myself and Jon Bradley whilst standing on Stones Island had a Cattle Egret drop onto the back of Watersports Island. We started to walk off towards waterports to try and get a view of the back of the island. Unfortunately as we got to the causeway onto Stones Island the Egret then flew towards Stones Is. Despite searching in the fading light we couldn't relocate it. This is the first record of Cattle Egret at Carsington.
