2018-11-10 | The second-winter Glaucous Gull was again at Sheepwash late afternoon (thanks to RJL/AHS/JB for the nod). Also c1500 LBbG, 20 Herring and 4 Yellow-legs (3 ads and a second-winter). A flock of 72 Golden Plover circled the WLC area for half an hour early afternoon but couldn't pluck up the courage to land. It appears that the 'pair' of Pintail are actually 2 males: the female-looking one is developing pale grey flanks and has a tiny hint of a white line behind the eye. 4 redhead Goosander flew N. c350 Lapwing. 3 Dunlin. 3 Ruff still. 13 Snipe at WLC.
