2011-09-13 | I'll start with the stand out highlight. A near adult Gannet was found by Steph and Roger from P Stanley hide shortly after 15.30hrs. We managed to catch up with it from Stones Island and then on the new path near Hopton End where it had a brief altercation with the immature female Pergrine. Shortly after this the Gannet flew off high North East. Also of note today was 4 Curlew Sandpipers, 5 Ruff, Knot, 12 Ringed Plover and 2 Dunlin present all day around Sailing Club/Stones Island area.
