The bird was ringed as a young male (age code 5) on 22.07.00 at Burton on Trent. This means he was hatched in 1999 making him in his 12th year. Yellow 5XY - metal ring W03247. The bird was ringed as a young female (age code 5) on 18.11.00 also at Burton on Trent. This also means she was hatched in 1999 making her the same age as her mate. Hope this is of some use.
