Still showing quite a bit of spotting on its upperparts and a hint of barring on its neck. (And credit where credit's due, Alan spotted it first.) Just 1 Ruff, 8 Redshank, 18 Common Snipe. 60 Fieldfare SW. 7 Linnet. | 2017-10-24 | 4 Goosanders at Millfields early a.m. plus 1 Brambling and 3Skylark over. Drake Green-winged still on Stones Island and 19 Rooks over. 5 Lesser Redpoll and 20 Siskin mobile. From Sheepwash Hide, 3 Ringed Plover, 3 Ruff, 4 Dunlin, 16 Barnacle Geese, 10 Pintail, 4 Shoveler, 24 Meadow Pipits and at least another 20 elsewhere on site. | Roger Carrington |
