- Derbyshire Constabulary has many specialist wildlife officers who are fully trained in wildlife law and enforcement.
- These officers cover the entire county of Derbyshire.
- The team has undertaken the national training course for Wildlife Crime Officers which equipped them with the expertise required to investigate a diverse range of wildlife offences.
- These dedicated officers perform their role of wildlife crime officer on a voluntary basis in addition to their normal police duties.
