CBC Meeting Schedule for 2024/25 commences in September
All CBC indoor meetings are held in the ‘Henmore Room’ in Carsington Water’s main centre and they start at 19.30h. Entrance fee is £2.00 to members and £2.50 to guests – Parking is free.
** TUESDAY, 16 DECEMBER ** – Talk: Birds and Islands; David Parkin reprises the presentation on the evolution of birdlife on islands, that he was due to give us last season before an injury forced him to postpone.
** Tuesday, 20 January: We travel ‘Around the UK in 200 Birds’ with Nick Martin
** Tuesday, 17 February: Mike Vickers guests, showing us the ’Birds of Jordan’
** Tuesday, 17 March: Katie Thorpe tells us about ‘Bringing a “boom” to Middleton Lakes’ and club AGM – starting at 7pm.
– First Sunday of the month – Birdwatching for Beginners – Meet Visitor Centre (10am-12 noon)
