|13/02/2012||Walked all round reservoir (0730-1120), seeing: Carrion Crow, Gt Tit, Jackdaw, Black-hd Gull, Bullfinch, Canada Goose, Blackbird, Pied Wagtail, Coot, Tufted Duck, Gt Crested Grebe, Goldeneye, Rook, Meadow Pipit, Coal Tit, Long-tail Tit, Blue Tit, Dunnock,||I don't actively count, but got the impression that there were between 100-200 Teal around the site, plus 100+ Mallard and Wigeon, and certainly 15-20 Goldeneye in three or four locations. Osprey through low past Stones Island at 1920hrs, flushing the gathering gull roost, then high south. Hobby flushed the starling roost on Stones Island then chased hirrundines at 2000

The starling roost has been regular over the past few weeks, holding up to 400 birds.
Water levels have now dropped a little leaving a narrow mud margin in places to attract passage waders.

3 Scaup were found by James Owen at Sheepwash,and were present all day.

|27/11/2012||The adult Great Northern Diver still present today was joined by a 2nd bird. We first spotted it at 14.10 and shortly after both birds could be seen together.
